Global Micro Animal Registry Privacy Policy

Global Micro Animal Registry (GMAR) respects your privacy and all data held is stored under high level security to ensure that the integrity of the data is maintained.

We will not use your details other than to send you newsletters and reminders to update your details as part of our Global Micro Gold membership. All emails will have a unsubscribe option for your convenience.

Data held on our registry is not made available to third parties except in the event of your pet being lost or handed to a Vet, council or Dog Pound and in that case those entities can access our system via a secure log-on and password.

In addition, we may disclose your personal information:

  1. to the extent that we are required to do so by law;
  2. in connection with any ongoing or prospective legal proceedings;
  3. in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights (including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention and reducing credit risk)

We will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information.

We will store all the personal information you provide on our secure (password and firewall-protected) servers.

Global Micro Animal Registry Terms and Conditions

Global Micro Animal Registry maintains a database of animals implanted with an identification microchip. Global Micro Animal Registry provides a 24 hours, 7 day a week information recovery service for its registered clients. For more information refer to our privacy policy above.

Confidentiality

Your records are regarded as confidential and therefore will not be divulged to any third party, other than if legally required to do so to the appropriate authorities. You have the right to request sight of, and copies of any and all Client Records we keep on the proviso that we are given reasonable notice of such request. Clients are requested to retain copies of any literature issued in relation to the provision of our services. Where appropriate, we shall issue you with appropriate written information, handouts or copies of records as part of an agreed contract, for the benefit of both parties.

We will not sell, share or rent your personal information to any third party or use your e-mail address for unsolicited mail. Any e-mails sent by this Company will only be in connection with the provision of agreed services and products.

Disclaimer, Exclusions and Limitations

The information on this website is provided on a “as is” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, this Company:

Global Micro Animal Registry Shipping Policy

Delivery Method

All GMAR orders are delivered by Australia Post or courier depending on size of the article and delivery address.

Delivery Cost

The cost of delivery is as per the current rates published by Australia Post or as per our courier company and will be added to your order.

Delivery

All orders received up to 4:00pm AEST (NSW) are processed and despatched the same day. Orders received after 4:00pm are processed and despatched the following work day. Delivery should occur within 1-7 days though may take longer to remote areas.

NOTE: Big Face t-shirts are shipped from the USA and can take 2-3 weeks

Where do you deliver?

GMAR will deliver to the address provided by you on your file record.

Why did I only receive one part of my order?

 If you have ordered more than one product it is possible that there could be more than one delivery. Goods are shipped as soon as they are in stock. If one item is out of stock and the other item is in stock we will make two deliveries.

Global Micro Animal Registry Returns and Refunds Policy

Return of Faulty Goods

Goods that are faulty can be exchanged with GMAR, within 7 days.

All products, unless noted otherwise, are sold with the full warranty of the manufacturer. The warranty period and service varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.

Customers may be required to contact the manufacturer's support department directly, to acquire authorisation to return any faulty products.

Procedure for returning Goods

All goods to be returned will require a Return Authorisation Number before they can be returned. To obtain a Return Authorisation Number, please contact GMAR by either email contact@globalmicro.com.au or by calling 02 8338 9063.

GMAR recommends that products returned by post should be sent by registered or certified mail. GMAR accepts no responsibility for loss or damage occurring in transit on return to GMAR.

Unless otherwise specified, the benefits conferred by warranties set out herein are additional to all other conditions, warranties, guarantees, rights and remedies expressed or implied by the applicable Trade Practices Act.
